OUT shares its MSM health expertise with international delegation

OUT had the pleasure of hosting visitors from China and Southeast Asia, who are participants of The Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity.

They were keen to learn about OUT’s Engage Men’s Health (EMH) project, which offers sexual health and psychosocial services to MSM and is funded by PEPFAR through USAID. The delegation also expressed interest in understanding the challenges that MSM face in South Africa and how they affect their health.

To provide the delegation with a comprehensive understanding of the EMH project, OUT arranged for a tour of the Johannesburg clinic. During the visit, the delegation interacted with staff members and was also given an opportunity to witness the program’s work in action in Soweto.

Atlantic Fellows for Health Equity is one of seven global, interconnected Atlantic Fellows programs of emerging leaders working to advance fairer, healthier, more inclusive societies.

We’re proud that our work can reach beyond borders by sharing our knowledge and experience with others from around the world.
