OUT is more than 21 years old and serves the lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender (LGBT) community in Pretoria and beyond. We are one of the oldest LGBT community groups in South Africa. Our main focus is on health issues of Men who have Sex with Men (MSM) and People who Inject Drugs PWID), hate crimes and community building.

OUT is currently recruiting for the following two vacancies:

Monitoring and Evaluation Co-ordinator: 

S/he will be responsible for the managing the data captured by two staff members responsible for PWID and MSM data respectively. It involves coordinating and supervising data captured in the field, data capturing, monitoring and evaluation of data, developing of stock and data control systems, reporting to funders and developing of Standard Operating Procedures.

Data Capturer for the People who Inject Drugs programme: 

S/he will be responsible for capturing contact forms onto an excel database, capture health screening forms on an Epidata base, entering of data into the de-duplication Excel database, manage the administration and paperwork (minute taking and filing of documents).  

The positions are based in Pretoria. They are an initial one year contract renewable pending on funding and performance. There is a three month probation period. Salary is negotiable pending on qualifications and experience.
