DON’T BE SILENCED

  • A hate crime should be reported to the police, regardless of when it happened 
  • Be sure to get a case number and the name and rank of the police official
  • Be sure to state the specific words used by the perpetrator while committing the crime
  • Be sure to state why the incident should be regarded as a hate crime
  • If you experience victimisation when reporting the incident, tell one of the organisations below
