OUT LGBT Well-Being was - along with TB HIV Care, the Bristol-Myers Squibb Foundation, Anova Health Institute, the NICD and the Division of Hepatology at UCT - one of the partners in a study on viral hepatitis in key populations in South Africa.

The study involved around 3 400 people from high risk groups, including men who have sex with men (MSM), sex workers and drug users (primarily those who inject drugs).

The findings of the study were recently released at World Hepatitis Day events around the country, in collaboration with the National Department of Health.
